Aintree Saturday Grand National Betting Update
The bookies are at odds as to who the favourite for the Grand National will be. Corals, Bet365 and William Hill make Ruby Walsh’s My Will the favourite, but the betting exchanges have Butler’s Cabin as their 9/1 favourite.
10/1 Rambling Minster and 20/1 Kilbeggan Blade have both been well supported today.
With showers due this afternoon, Southern Vic could be a value bet at 33/1 with Blue Square, who are paying 5 places.
Today I am also keen on David Casey’s Offshore Account. Betfred are the only firm to hold out 33/1 this morning.
I tipped Darkness at 33/1 at the beginning of the week, but I’m not sure if it makes as much appeal at the current 20/1.
Elsewhere the Aintree Hurdle at 2.50pm looks a cracking contest, with Al Eile and Celestial Halo the 9/2 co-favourites, although the latter has been weak on the exchanges.
12/1 Katchit will relish the step-up in trip, although preference is for the fresh Fiveforthree, currently 9/1 with Canbet.
